The mission of the 2Learn.ca Education Society is to initiate, advocate and share with educators technology-enriched teaching, learning and leadership options of tomorrow, empowered by unique alliances with educational and community partners.

The vision of the 2Learn.ca Education Society is that every citizen of tomorrow is a life-long learner, making optimal use of technology in all aspects of life. Our commitment is to discovering and rediscovering the potential of technology, transforming exceptional ideas into practice, and making these available to and achievable by learners of all ages. In an era of mass media and rapid technological growth, finding the oasis of quality, that information gem that will open the door for young learners of today can seem like an overwhelming, and, at times, very daunting task. We make this process simple - for learners, educators and parents. In just a short time 2Learn.ca has grown from an idea to a thriving and vital reality. We have achieved this success through a mixture of strong vision, excellent partnerships and continued, vigilant hard work. As an organization striving to make a significant difference we are recognized as leaders in technology-based learning and we exist to share this knowledge

Goals

• Sustain and maintain the cutting edge/leading edge thinking that drives and contributes to the 2Learn.ca Education Society.
• Expand liaisons and systems to further connect and facilitate a dynamic online community of educators.
• Increase current and potential users' awareness of the 2Learn.ca Education Society's programs, resources and tools.
• Research and develop tools and resources for adapting learning content, delivery and pace.
• Provide quality programs, processes and resources to meet learner needs.
• Expand opportunities for school-based educators to exercise leadership in technology integration.
• Develop the organization and build the relationships to secure the funding and other resources to sustain and enhance the growth of the 2Learn.ca Education Society.
