Alberta Education's Emerge One-to-One Laptop Learning Initiative is in the third year of implementation.  This project has provided Alberta educators with research data on the educational and technical merits of one-to-one mobile computing initiatives.  The Emerge 2010 summit is the culmination of this three-year project which will highlight research results, lessons learned and best practices using technologies to support 21^st Century teaching, learning and leading.  The Emerge 2010 Summit will take place at The Banff Centre from August 15 to 18, 2010. 

The Emerge 2010 Summit is an educational event open to all interested parties.  The call for presenters is open to anyone interested in sharing research or experiences with technology in the 21^st Century classroom, both in one-to-one environments and others.
