Cyberbridge: Read Around the Planet (RAP) Preparation, Registration and Information Session
On Demand for Educators, Coordinators and Technicians
Read Around the Planet (RAP) is the largest international VC collaborative opportunity in the world that partners your class with another school to celebrate the joy of reading.
In this 45-minute videoconference, you will meet with Alberta’s RAP site verifier to learn more about this phenomenon, receive resources, register for accounts and verify your equipment.

Important Dates to Remember:
Now through Jan. 6, 2012: verification preparation by coordinators & technicians
December 1, 2011 - January 13, 2012: teachers register their classes
January 28, 2012: partner matches posted online
February, 2012: technicians complete test calls; partner match teachers
communicate with each other to prepare for their VC

February 22-March 7, 2012: VC connections occur

Coordinators Register for Accounts: get your account at http://projects.twice.cc
Coordinators verify VC Equipment: must be completed by December 1, 2012.

Teachers Register: Starting December 1, 2011. Coordinators can register for teachers or teachers can register their classes to participate in Read Around the Planet.
