Hi folks!  Just thought I would create a topic that members could post a description of who they are and how they see themselves contributing to this project.  I am a teacher at the St. Paul Alternate Education Centre part time, part time as St. Paul Education's Regional Division #1 (SPERD)Division Trainer and part time as Learning Network's (our Region 2 consortia) technical advisor.  As Division Trainer with SPERD, I help staff with technology, essentially how to infuse technololgy into teaching.  I serve as SPERD's Video Conferencing coordinator - ordering equipment, advising on the set up of VC suites and working with people how to effectivey use VC.  I am also involved as a Video Conferencing Regional Leads teacher (VCRLN), a project set up by the 2Learn Educaiton Society to help promote VC and establish VC capacity across the province.

If you need technical help, please drop me an e-mail at Robert_Tymofichuk@sperd.ca or give me a call at (780) 645-5015.

You can video conference with me at a supernet site with my E164 address 7995463023@199.213.6.57 or using skype, just dial Robert.Tymofichuk

Cheers,

Rob

Hi Everyone:

I work with the Buffalo National Park Foundation and Buffalo Adventures. I am a historian specializing in western
Canadian and Environmental history. For the last four years I have been working in marketing regional tourism attractions and historic sites. Buffalo Adventures is jointly operated by the Buffalo National Park Foundation and Bodo Archaeological Society and includes partners throughout the east-central Alberta region. As part of Buffalo Adventures, I am excited about developing school tours at some of our sites, or educational opportunities related to some of our sites, that will promote the unique history of this region. As I am familiar with the history of this area, I hope I can act as a resource for this project.
