We found value in discussing the blog sites with colleagues.  A site was recommended by a fellow participant that sounds secure enough to be used in a classroom. (21classes.com)

The overview of the blog/wiki sites available and their advantages and disadvantages was helpful.

At the same time, the discussion of liabililty took over much of the conversation, and it seems like liability is our biggest liability in educational progress.

We would welcome the opportunity to explore a specific blog or wiki site, from overview to creation, through implementation.

Provides great interaction for students where they can use hands on activities.  We can storytell, download images.  We found value in that students who have a hard time writing now have an alternative media to use.

We enjoyed finding and exploring new websites that we normally would not have time to go explore.

A challenge is definitely the time it takes for laptops to access the wireless network. We found our session frustrating because of the time it took to connect to the various sites. (it was EXTREMELY SLOW) and this could make or break a lesson with children. Once we were in, the sites were user friendly, but then time was up.

Collaboration and group work are widely used by many people in their professions.  The experience these tools will provide will be a rich and varied experience for students to develop the necessary skills to work with others.

Another story telling tool that I have used in the past but just found out is available for Windows machines is Comic Life. It is a great story telling tool that is very easy to use on either platform. It comes with a 30 day trial then they apply a watermark to all the things you create. There are many choices for the product payment but I would just use the 30 day trial to the max. http://comiclife.com/ Take a look it is very easy to use and it makes a great product.
