Hello all!  Some of you may know someone that I can contact (in Calgary) who has expertise in the area of the oil sands.  I have a grade 12 IB student who wants to do his extended essay in this area.  It would probably involve a few hours over the next 4 - 5 months to help Alec refine his question, give him some areas to look for research and look over his 4000 word essay closer to the due date.  Many corporate organizations require their employees to do volunteer work or mentorship work so hopefully this would qualify.  If you could forward me any contact information ( serivers@cbe.ab.ca ) or other organizations that you think I could contact, I would appreciate it.  (p.s.  he is a member of the school enviro club so may already have some bias)
